I watched the Arsenal vs Barcelona Champions League tie last night and I have to say that I have never witnessed any team outplay Arsenal like that for such long periods. Even Manchester United when they won 3-1 at the Emirates in last years semi-final didn't even do that. The two Barcelona goals were defensive errors by Arsenal but that does not detract from the fact that they could have been 4-0 down by the time Barcelona scored their first. It has to be said though that the sheer speed that Barcelona got into the match seemed to stun Arsenal at the start and it was a miracle that it went to half-time 0-0. After last nights showing then you would have to say that they are looking good to retain the trophy but no team has ever done that and that is a measure of just how difficult a task that really is.
