Waites looked to have one foot in the last eight when he hed Hankey 3-2 but vintage darts from "The Count" pulled him back from the brink.

The scene is set for the richest prize in Darts tonight as the PDC World Championships reaches the final. Can we take any more excitement after two literally stunning semi-finals that both went down to the wire? Andy Hamilton reached his first ever final by beating ex-finalist Simon Whitlock in an epic match 6-5. It had looked at one stage that the Aussie would reach his second PDC final but Hamilton produced a stunning comeback and took the match.
