Brazilian Grand Prix

Motor Sport | 27-11-11

German driver and current World Champion Sebastian Vettel has recorded yet another pole position for today's Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos. In doing so he has achieved an amazing 15 pole positions during the season which has been an indication of the dominance of the car as well as the ability of the driver.

In recording pole number 15 then Vettel has broken Nigel Mansell's record for the most number of pole positions in a single season which is an amazing feat to go along with his world title and a feat that may be even bigger than winning the title itself.

It is difficult to see who can stop Vettel winning here in Brazil if everything stays well with the car. He was recording lap times a full quarter of a second faster than anyone else when he recorded a time of 1.12.26 which he then went and smashed by going even faster at 1.11.91. History will decide if Sebastian Vettel takes his place amongst other great names of F1 but at this stage it would be wise not to bet against that.
