All set for GP India

Motor Sport | 29-10-11

The 2011 F1 World Championships are drawing to a close but there are still many interesting sub plots and story lines unfolding. In the first practice session Lewis Hamilton was awarded a three place grid penalty for rules violations. He had raced on through a yellow flag and the race stewards had no choice but to penalise him.

Hamilton has upset a  few  of his fellow drivers recently but that is part of his appeal to the sport. The eyes of India will be on this race at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh. With Force India being in the field then there will be massive home interest and this may prove to be a very popular GP for years to come.

This season has been very exciting with so many world champions and ex-world champions in the mix. It has added a lot of interest to the sport with the recent return of drivers like Michael Schumacher for example and having so many drivers capable of winning the drivers championship.
