A stunning game of football

Football | 17-02-11
It isn’t often that you look forward to a game of football that promises so much and then the game goes and delivers. But the Arsenal vs Barcelona game last night lived up to all expectations. The belief that the 2-1 win will give to the Arsenal players will be huge and after beating Chelsea then they have shown at last that they can handle the big occasion now. I still think that Barcelona will progress in the tie and my prediction stands. I always maintained that Arsenal would score against them but concede more goals and they will have to score in the Nou Camp for sure because I simply cannot see how Barcelona will go 90 minutes there and not score with the type of football that Arsenal play. So a great game of football but I still believe that Arsenal are no closer to winning the tie than they were at the beginning. But what of Tottenham, well they were fantastic at the San Siro and what a huge 1-0 win that was. But it was the manner of the win that would have pleased Harry Redknapp and it became clear how frustrated AC Milan were when their captain Gattuso head butted Joe Jordan. I really thought that Tottenham would go out over two legs and they still may do but what a result. As for Arsenal, I still only give them a 25% chance at best to qualify which is more than I would have given them after their 2-2 first leg draw last year.
